Carmen Pérez Andújar

Partner in charge of Litigation, Insolvency, and Compliance

Carmen Pérez Andújar has been a practicing lawyer since 1996, specialising in consulting on Litigation, Arbitration and Insolvency.

During her professional career, she has participated in numerous judicial and arbitration proceedings involving civil and commercial law, as well as criminal/financial proceedings.

Her studies include: a postgraduate diploma in Business Law (CEPADE, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid); a course in Anglo-American Law, Centro de Estudios Garrigues; a Master’s Degree in International Law, Foreign Trade, and International Relations, ISDE (completed in 2011 with an Honourable Mention); Third Special Training Course in Bankruptcy Administration, Madrid Bar Association (2012). She is currently completing a PhD at the Universidad Complutense in the Business Law Department.

Carmen also has extensive teaching experience. She has taught Real Estate Registry Law as an associate professor at the Universidad de las Islas Baleares and has presented at various seminars for judiciary officials and Chambers of Commerce.

She is currently a board member and Deputy Secretary for Material and Technological Resources of the General Council of Spanish Attorneys. She has been 9th Member and Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Madrid Bar Association and board member of the Council of Bar Associations of the Community of Madrid, from 2013 to 2018.

She has been selected as Best Lawyer in the Litigation Area in 2018, 2019, and 2020.

She is fluent in Spanish and English.

She is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.
