Carmen Pérez Andújar
Carmen Pérez Andújar is a Partner of the Law Firm, where she leads the Litigation, Insolvency and Compliance Area.
She has a professional trajectory of over 20 years, with solid experience in legal proceedings, pertaining to civil, commercial and criminal-economic proceedings, as well as in arbitration proceedings. She was Of Counsel to Estudio Jurídico Alliantia, where she led the Procedural, Insolvency and Arbitration Areas, and where she started working in 2018. Previously, she has developed her professional career in Law Firms Pariente & Sánchez Cueto, CPA Abogados and, mainly, Garrigues, where she worked during 11 years in their offices in Palma de Mallorca, Warsaw, Bucharest and Barcelona.
She is currently elective director and Vicesecretary for Technological and Material Resources at the General Council of Spanish Lawyers. She has acted as 9th Deputy and secretary of the Governing Board of the Madrid Bar Association and Director of the Council of Bar Associations of the Autonomous Community of Madrid, during the 2013-2018 term.
Carmen has been elected Best Lawyer 2018 and 2019 in the Litigation Area.
Carmen holds a degree in Law from Universidad Complutense de Madrid (1996), Specialist in Business Law Degree (CEPADE, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid), Course in Anglo-American Law (Centro de Estudios Garrigues), International Law, Foreign Commerce and International Relations Masters (ISDE, completed in 2011 with Honours) and III Special Course Insolvency Administrator’ Training.
Moreover, Carmen is a Doctoral Student in the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, in the Commercial Department.
Carmen is a member of the Madrid Bar Association and is fluent in Spanish and English.
