Ignacio Bilbao AlonsoIgnacio Bilbao Alonso is a Partner of the Firm who leads the Processed Food Law Area.

Within this sector, Ignacio carries out corporate, commercial, civil and litigation work.

Throughout his professional career, Ignacio has rendered advice to companies in the processed food and biotechnology sectors, accompanying them in different transactions and projects relating to their business. Among others, he has advised on several corporate transactions for the integration of capital (family office and investment funds), drafting the different contractual agreements (investment contracts, protocols…) inherent thereto.

Likewise, his experience extends to restructuring relevant process food companies, unit production spin-offs and division of business assets, representing insolvent companies as their legal advisor and negotiating insolvency agreements, defining strategies for the economic viability of the company.

Ignacio started his professional career in 2005 in Bufete AFR. At this time, he advised large and small companies, national and foreign, in Commercial and Civil Law, intervening recurrently before the Courts and Tribunals of civil and commercial orders.

In April 2011, Ignacio incorporated his own Law Firm and in September 2013 when, together with Carlos Tassara de León, they incorporated Tassara & Bilbao.

In 2018, Tassara & Bilbao has started a new project, becoming a part of ITER Law & Partners.

Ignacio has a Law Degree from the University in Seville (2005), has carried out the Expert Course in Urban Planning and Environment of the Instituto de Estudios Cajasol (2010) and he is currently a member at Seville’s Bar Association.

Ignacio has been a Professor at Superior Master in Legal Practice at Universidad Pablo de Olavide and at Master on Corporate Environmental Management at the Empresa de la Escuela de Organización Industrial (EOI).

He speaks English and Spanish.
