Carlos Tassara de León

Carlos Tassara de León has been a practicing lawyer since 2002, specialising in Public Law and Litigation.
During his professional career, he has advised public and private entities, companies, and individuals in Administrative, Property Development, and Civil Law. He regularly takes part in litigation proceedings in civil and contentious-administrative courts.
Over the course of his career, his major achievements have included his interventions in administrative lawsuits brought against companies as a result of industrial accidents with environmental repercussions; proceedings for the termination of administrative contracts due to breaches by government agencies; and legal audits for major asset purchase transactions.
He has a law degree from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (1996-2001) and a master’s degree in Property Development and Land Use Planning from the I.E.S. Fundación Universitaria San Pablo CEU de Madrid, now the CEU Business School Madrid (2001-2002). He is also a practicing member of the Seville Bar Association.
Carlos is passionate about teaching and has taught for the Executive Master of Business Law offered by the Garrigues Study Center in collaboration with Harvard Law School. He has also participated in writing numerous articles for a range of media outlets.
