Ignacio Careaga
Partner in charge of the firm’s management
Ignacio Careaga is an economist, specialising in the energy sector. He brings his business vision and sector-focused expertise to the projects for which the firm provides legal advice.
During his professional career, he has worked in a host of sectors, with special emphasis on the Renewable Energies sector, including his experience as Country Manager of Solarpack in Chile and Peru.
He has also held a range of positions, including his relevant recent experience in Banking Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) as CFO of Grupo BC, and in business consulting as Managing Partner of CIHE (Corporación Industrial Hispano Etíope).
Ignacio studied at the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the Universidad del País Vasco, in Bilbao. He speaks Spanish, English, French, and Portuguese.
